He graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He will eventually depart for Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Goose Creek, South Carolina to begin training as a submarine officer. As a 1\/C MIDN (Senior) he was a devoted and hardworking Midshipman Operations Officer, essentially&nbsp;creating and ensuring proper scheduling for the spring semester for the entire crew.
